Pitmaster – small | Ash & Sapele

Big Pitmaster character in a refined, more compact format.

The Pitmaster is a handcrafted end-grain cutting and serving board created for discerning European kitchens. Measuring 12” × 18” × 1-1/2”, it offers a generous, beautifully balanced work surface while fitting comfortably into more compact spaces.

Made from a distinctive pairing of Ash and Sapele hardwoods, this board brings together durability, tactile richness, and natural visual depth. Its end-grain construction creates a resilient, knife-friendly cutting surface, while the warm Ash and richly toned Sapele form an elegant contrast. Every board reveals its own unique grain pattern, color variation, and character.

A generously carved perimeter juice groove helps capture juices while carving meats, keeping the work surface clean and composed. Substantial metal handles provide a secure, practical grip and make it easy to carry this 4 cm thick board from kitchen to table.
