Terms of service
Terms of Service
Effective Date: July 26, 2026
Welcome to Onorato Woodworks. By accessing our website or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our website.
Throughout these Terms, the words "we," "our," and "us" refer to Onorato Woodworks.
1. General Conditions
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
By using this website, you agree not to use our products or services for any unlawful purpose or violate any applicable laws or regulations.
2. Product Information
Because every item is handcrafted from natural wood, each piece is unique.
Variations in:
- Grain pattern
- Color
- Figure
- Knots
- Mineral streaks
- Live edges
- Natural imperfections
are normal characteristics of genuine hardwood and are not considered defects.
Product photographs are intended to represent the style and craftsmanship of our work. Actual products will vary due to the natural characteristics of wood.
3. Custom Orders & Commissioned Pieces
Custom furniture and commissioned projects are built specifically for each customer.
The design, dimensions, wood species, finish, hardware, pricing, and estimated completion schedule will be agreed upon before work begins.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before sourcing materials or beginning construction.
For projects requiring specialty hardwoods, live-edge slabs, or rare materials, the deposit authorizes us to begin sourcing through our network of domestic and international suppliers.
The remaining balance is due before delivery or pickup unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Because custom and commissioned pieces are made specifically for you, all deposits are non-refundable once material sourcing or production has begun.
4. One-of-a-Kind Pieces
Some products displayed on our website represent previously completed projects and may no longer be available.
When this is the case, the product description will indicate that the item has been sold and serves as an example of our craftsmanship.
If commissioned to recreate a similar piece, we will source materials with comparable quality and character for your review and approval before construction begins.
Because no two natural wood slabs are identical, exact duplication is not possible.
5. Personalized Products
Customers are responsible for supplying high-quality artwork, photographs, or engraving files.
We reserve the right to decline artwork that:
- Has insufficient resolution
- Cannot be engraved properly
- May violate copyrights or trademarks
- Contains offensive or unlawful material
Production begins only after acceptable artwork has been received and approved.
6. Pricing
All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD).
Prices may change without notice.
Custom quotes remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.
7. Payment
We accept payment methods offered through Shopify at checkout.
For commissioned furniture, payment terms are outlined in the project agreement.
Orders will not enter production until required deposits or payments have been received.
8. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping times vary depending on the product.
Please refer to our Shipping Policy for complete details regarding:
- Processing times
- Shipping methods
- Freight deliveries
- Local delivery
- Shipping damage
- International orders
9. Returns & Cancellations
Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for complete information.
Because many of our products are handcrafted, personalized, or custom built, certain items may not be eligible for return.
10. Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship.
If you believe your item has a defect in workmanship, please contact us promptly.
Natural movement of wood caused by seasonal humidity changes is a normal characteristic of solid hardwood and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Damage resulting from:
- Abuse
- Neglect
- Improper storage
- Improper care
- Outdoor exposure (unless specifically designed for outdoor use)
- Normal wear
is not covered.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Onorato Woodworks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of our products.
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the product.
12. Intellectual Property
All photographs, product descriptions, logos, branding, artwork, website content, and designs are the property of Onorato Woodworks and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.
13. Privacy
Your submission of personal information through the website is governed by our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes become effective immediately upon posting to this website.
